3. Services
Together Technology Ltd provides IT services, including software development, domain registration, VoIP and calling services, hosting, telephone lines, broadband, and support. Specific services may be subject to additional agreements and terms.
4. Software Development
When we develop software for you, the following terms apply:
- Ownership and Licensing: Unless otherwise agreed, we retain ownership of all code and intellectual property developed by us. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for its intended purpose.
- Support and Maintenance: We will provide support for any bugs or issues within the agreed-upon period after delivery. Any further support may be subject to additional fees.
- Custom Development: All custom development will be scoped out in a separate agreement and will be delivered as per the project timeline.
5. VoIP and Calling Services
Together Technology Ltd provides VoIP and calling services under the following terms:
- Usage: You agree to use our VoIP services in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including those concerning telecommunications.
- Service Reliability: We make no guarantee of uninterrupted service due to the reliance on internet connectivity. You agree that we are not responsible for outages caused by third-party service providers.
- Fair Usage: You must comply with our fair usage policy. Excessive or abusive usage may result in service suspension or additional charges.
- Emergency Calls: VoIP services may not provide reliable access to emergency services. You are advised to have a backup method for emergency calls.
6. Hosting Services
When using our hosting services, the following terms apply:
- Uptime and Reliability: We will endeavour to provide 99.9% uptime for hosting services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance.
- Backups: You are responsible for ensuring that you have proper backups of your data. While we may offer backup services, these are provided on a best-effort basis and should not be relied upon as your sole backup.
- Prohibited Content: You agree not to host any illegal, offensive, or harmful content. We reserve the right to suspend hosting services if such content is found.
7. Telephone Lines
Together Technology Ltd provides telephone line services with the following terms:
- Installation and Setup: We will arrange installation of telephone lines as agreed in the service contract. Any installation delays caused by third parties, such as network providers, are outside our control.
- Service Quality: We aim to provide high-quality, reliable telephone line services. However, we are not responsible for outages caused by external factors, such as network issues, that are beyond our control.
- Fair Usage Policy: Our telephone line services are subject to fair usage. If usage is deemed excessive or outside of normal parameters, we may impose additional charges or suspend the service.
8. Broadband Services
The following terms apply to broadband services provided by Together Technology Ltd:
- Speed and Reliability: We aim to provide consistent broadband speeds as advertised, but actual speeds may vary depending on location, network traffic, and other factors beyond our control.
- Service Interruptions: We are not liable for any service interruptions caused by external factors such as network outages or third-party provider issues.
- Fair Usage: Broadband services are subject to a fair usage policy. Excessive bandwidth consumption may result in reduced speeds or additional charges.
- Customer Equipment: You are responsible for ensuring that your equipment (routers, modems, etc.) is compatible with our broadband services. We are not liable for service issues caused by incompatible or faulty equipment.
9. Domain Name Registration
When registering a domain, including .gov.uk
domains, the following terms apply:
- All domain registrations are subject to availability and compliance with applicable laws.
.gov.uk
domains are provided in accordance with the rules set out by the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO), acting as the Critical Domain Holder for.gov.uk
domains.
10. .gov.uk Domain Terms
For clients registering or managing a .gov.uk
domain, the following additional terms apply:
- You must maintain an agreement with us as your Registrar and agree to the terms set by the Critical Domain Holder, including compliance with the .gov.uk domain registration and management rules.
- Any disputes related to the domain name management may be escalated to the Critical Domain Holder, who may take corrective action, including suspension or transfer of domain control.
- Your domain name may be subject to monitoring by the Critical Domain Holder for security purposes, and you agree to such monitoring as per the applicable rules and regulations.

11. Data Protection and Privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal data in line with our Privacy Policy. Any personal data collected during domain registration and service provision will be handled in compliance with the UK GDPR.
